We are invited to donate books to the senior citizens attending the Prime Time 50+ Expo  on October 20 (click HERE for flyer).  Those who have attended during the last 5 years have always enjoyed this event.  Volunteers, please RSVP to this message by "Replying to All" to the message Dave O. sent you on October 13 with which of the two shifts you would like to attend.  Or, if it is more convenient, please fill out the on-line form below (click HERE for form).
We will be packing and labeling at least 12 boxes this Friday (October 16) for Tuesday's event: all the attractive adult books, and at least 6 boxes of children's books the seniors can take home to their grandkids. 
Dave O. will load these boxes and our trusty dolly at 7.00 AM Tuesday and have the first load of boxes ready to unpack at our second-floor location in the NM Museum of Natural History & Science by 8.00AM.
We hope to have at least four people for each shift, and will make sure anyone who stays for both shifts receives a tasty Old Town kind of lunch!
