Read to Me! Notes for Early May 2025
I recently learned about a great partner which has been serving expectant Mothers exclusively for more than 50 years : Birthright of Albuquerque. Please check them out : https://www.sharenm.org/birthright-international/birthright-of-albuquerque
We will be able to share our literature with them starting with a stack of Mother’s Day (Sunday May 11) cards any of our Volunteers are free to use for whomever. I put them just in front of the Head Table in the Book Room.
Hawthorne ES will host their “Read One Book” Literacy event on Thursday evening May 8, from 5.30 to 7.30pm. They have invited us to set up a table in the library. A good friend of Read to Me!, Eileen Jessen, will be picking up about 5 or 6 boxes on Friday May 2 and take them to Hawthorne on May 8.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday May 14 at 9.00 am in the Book Room. If you CAN make it at the above time, please Reply to All to the email that I sent you on April 30 (or fill out the form below) and we will wait for you. An Agenda will arrive in the Friendly Reminder on May 10 or so and will also be posted on this page of our website.
